You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Wally was found as a stray in horrible condition.  We will never know his story before becoming a Diamond, but we will make sure the rest of his story is one full of love, healing and happiness. Wally has been learning what it is like to be a dog.  He did not know what to do with toys when he first arrived, but now plays with toys but isn't always sure what to do with them.  He is full of love and snuggles but also likes his space. He gets so happy meeting new people, or when visitors coming over because he loves to be around his people.  He does suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out) and gets sad when you leave him. We think he is scared he will lose all the love he is now getting! This handsome boy walks well on a leash and looks forward to his daily walks. He is very, very food motivated and that is always a positive to help with training and direction. He is soooo smart! We are not saying that because he is a Diamond, he really is a smart cookie. He would be such a fun companion for someone that wants to do dog agility, tricks, training, etc - he will master it all! Wally is a really good boy, and because we want him to be the best he can be in his forever home Wally's adoption will come with sponsored training to his forever human(s)! Wally does get a long with other dogs but needs slow introductions and socialization, and this is also where the training will come in helpful. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This gorgeous little tank is Blu! He's a fun, goofy, sweetheart who CRAVES human companionship. Blu is currently in boarding & he wants nothing more than to be in a home with people! Every volunteer who's met him has instantly fallen in love with his happy, puppy-like wonder at the world around him. Blu will be happy doing whatever his people are doing; exploring, going for walks, playing or just hanging out together.  Blu was kept in a barn before becoming a Diamond, so he was never given the opportunity to learn all the things dogs usually get to learn as a part of a family. Luckily he's as smart as he is cute, eager to please & highly treat motivated so training should be pretty easy. But he is a strong little guy, so he'll need someone strong enough to handle him while helping him learn leash manners. Check out his video below to see him sitting, giving paw & gently taking treats like a champ!  We know Blu liked dogs before he was attacked by one who was resource guarding. Our boy Blu is a lover, not a fighter so we have to assume he may be somewhat dog selective going forward; as always a meet & greet with resident & frequently visiting dogs facilitated by a DITR volunteer is required. Cats are unknown. If you have a cat(s) DITR will facilitate a safe, no contact "cat test" with Blu and your cat(s) as part of the approval process. Blu has never lived with children and has no idea of his strength, so we're recommending only older, respectful children (13+ yrs) at this time. Because this sweetie had a rough start at life, he needs someone willing to provide the love, time & patience needed to properly decompress & transition from barn/boarding life to a loving home. Our dog team will be happy to provide guidance. Loki is a very sweet loving boy. He is very affectionate and always looking for rubs. He loves going for walks and lounging on the couch. He isn't dog friendly or fond of young kids. He is very protective and smart. He is crate trained and house broken. He likes following a routine. Loki is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.  He can also be transported to anywhere in the United States and Canada.   ##1501887##
