The stock wheels are 16", 78.9 offset.....
I really want to (Meaning i MUST) put my baja t/a's on our Maverick R. One catch is i dont want to increase the width of the allready extremely wide machine. I hear method is coming out with some wheels for it. Some guys using truck wheels... What wheels is Dustin Jones running?
I thought about getting some stock wheels for the Maverick R base model (15"), but then i see that they have a smaller offset?....which doesnt make sense since the machines spec out to the same width. ???
Need options for wheels, preferably before KOH.

Depends on how much you want to spend right now. Metal FX makes some super cushy machined wheels (I have those for my paddle tires right now), Raceline is working on some cast wheels right now but I don't think they will be out by KOH (I'd call and find out though). Valor is also working on cast wheels for the Maverick R - might give those guys a call and see what their time-frame is as well? They were saying like 8 weeks or so about 4 weeks ago I believe.....
I don't think you can use truck wheels because the spacing is just a hair different on that bolt pattern.

Should be standard 5x4.5, no? Just a matter or wheel stud and lug nut differences assuming the center bore is big enough

KMC should have wheels for it anyday now. Id check with them.

Can Am went with a 6 lug.
Why? Because it’s one more than Polaris.
A little Spinsl Tap humor if you caught it?

Oh right, I thought it was same six lug as F150?

Ive been working on this issue the last couple months. Valor Wheels are the wrong offset for racing. KMC, Vision, and Raceline will not have wheels available until after KOH. ZRP and Battle Born wheels are the only options with the correct offset that are available today.

When you say “wrong offset” what is it? Wide offset?
The thing about mine, I don’t want it wider than stock. Not at all. Want stock offset.
I have 4 of the base model 15” non beadlock wheels coming next week so at least I can mount my Baja T/A’s for KOH (if you have been to KOH you get why).
That should hold me over until the market has the choices up.

Still?! No aftermarket options yet? I wonder if truck wheels will work in the meantime

Check with Jim at TR Beadlocks for 15x6. Last I was aware they had blanks that can be drilled to 6-5.5 (6-139). they are flowformed and 4" backspace. or 4+2 in utv speak?
They also have a one year unlimited warranty for non racing applications. That blank wont work for the ProR smaller pattern but should for MavR

You might be disappointed in putting a 15 inch wheel on it. DesertSXS and a few others with MaV R’s using the 16 inch wheels are having issues with rocks & debris getting between the wheel & hub/arms and cutting grooves in the wheels. The DesertSXS guys have two wheels on order, and like mentioned they are not in stock. I’m wondering if the 15 in wheels will have more issues as they will have less clearance?

Good call. The issue is Baja t/a’s (UTV) only come in 15”. Possibly BFG will come out with a 16?

we hope BFG came with a good 16 tire size for racing, we just crossed the 500 miles at odo, between testing a fun ride and a 200 mile race, new springs and valving really felt difference and just waiting for a good muffler option, dont like too much how stocks sounds or had my ear toned with the X3 sound

The race builds sitting outside can-ams tent at hammertown had race line wheels. Don’t think they have been release yet.

Price?
Went through one stock wheel and one tire (not the same wheel/tire! Wheel was rear tire was front) at hammers.
