Story

Phoenix is an extremely loyal dog. We picked her out because she was adorable, high energy and not shy. She has become an adult in that time and has a strong personality. She loves lounging, running around outside on the long leash, tug of war, and pets. She is highly interested in smells, and loves playing hide and seek with treats around the house. She does excellent with routine. She loves waking up, going for a walk, eating, and then sunbathing before I go to work. She is house trained, she doesn't have accidents. She knows all basic tricks. She struggles with recall, however due to her extremely high food motivation she will always recall with a treat. She struggles with strangers, especially outside. She is reactive towards dogs and cats. She has been on medication for these symptoms, so they have gotten better but not all the way. She prefers to walk away or walk around the way of strangers while going for daily walks.

Story

Meet Wonder Woman...she is a sweet one year old spayed female Bully mix in need of a new home. She came in with what appeared to be a torn ACL. She has visited our vet and she was x rayed and given anti inflammatory meds. They informed us that she would not require surgery. She would just have to take it easy with shorter walks. She is loving and friendly. Please visit the Taylor Animal Shelter to meet her. We are open Monday thru Friday from 9-11:30 am and 12:30-3 pm.
